Default Blizzard trial postponed.

WMUR

LACONIA, N.H. -- A trial on a negligent driving charge has been postponed for a New Hampshire woman who is serving a one-year sentence for killing her best friend in a speed boat crash.
Erica Blizzard, of Laconia, was convicted of negligent homicide in March in the death of Stephanie Beaudoin. Beaudoin was killed and Blizzard and another woman were injured when Blizzard's boat crashed into the ledge wall of Diamond Island in Lake Winnipesaukee.
The day after she was convicted, Blizzard was cited for driving 84 mph on Interstate 93. She was accused of driving in such a distracted manner she almost struck a state trooper who tried to flag her down.
She faced a July 27 trial on negligent driving in Laconia District Court. That has been postponed until Sept. 7.

Gosh, another conviction would interfere with her running a marina (and work release) during the busy season. That would be just awfull.

I believe I read in the Citizen that the postponement was the result of an officer being called to some sort of training and could not be at the trial.

Prices have surely gone up for storage, I hope there isn't a correlation!
