Default Pine Cone last night.

Just thought I would give another plug for the Pine Cone. My wife and I stopped in after my trip to see the Cardiologist at Huggins. They had a Special going that was a Turkey dinner. $12.99. I have to say it was the best thing I have had there. Ever. And I have been going there for years. If you get a chance to have it it was well worth it. For the simple reason that it was only $12.99 and the plate was heaping full. Maybe because it was a Tuesday? Anyway we were pretty much the only ones in there. Service was super fast. Almost rivaled the Village Kitchen..... So hey, when I get some good food for a great price I like to tell everyone.

Correct on Bayside. They also opened another restaurant in Wakefield I believe but I have not been there.

Another huge thumbs up for the Pine Cone's pizza. And I say this as a Philly-born boy. It's really good. Oh, and try the quesadillas, and any of the burgers, or any other menu item.

But the clam chowder...amazing. Had another bowl in January after a long, cold day outside, and I could've easily had five or six more.

Pincecone and Bayside have the best pizza I've found in NH since moving from NJ eleven years ago.

I agree about the pizza but found out to my Disappointment that Bayside does not start serving pizza until 4:00 PM.

The Pine Cone also only serves pizza in the evening.

Thank you Green's Basin Girl. We were planning on heading to Pine Cone for lunch this weekend to check out the pizza and would have been really disappointed to arrive and find out we were too early. We will have to plan a dinner there in the near future to try out this pizza that has received so many positive reviews here on the forum

I'm surprised they have such a limited evening offering.

I believe that post meant that pizza is only served in the evening and not only pizza in the evening.

I saw folks eating pizza at lunch this weekend at the Pine Cone. They must also serve it during the day on the weekends.

Default Pine Cone menu says ...

Pizza available from 11am on Saturday, from noon on Sunday, weekdays after 4pm.

I had their House Loaded Pizza yesterday. It was great. They must use a spicy/tangy base (sauce or oil?) of some kind that I enjoyed but not everyone may. Although some of the toppings were spicy it tasted like the whole pizza was spicy as well. All the toppings were fresh and flavorful, a real treat. The crust was evenly baked and not singed anywhere.

I'll be back.
