Default Metrocast

Is anyone else having this situation with Metro cast. This morning I had 150 new e-mail messages waiting to be read. The most I have ever gotten in the past is a dozen or so. Some are repeats from as far back as 6 days ago. Some times there are up to 7 repeats of the same message.

Default Duplicate emails

Multiple e-mails has happened to me a couple times. Every time I would click on an e-mail it would duplicate itself until I had about 10 copies of each e-mail. I have a Mac with Apple Mail and the problem was with my mail program and not Metrocast. The first time it happened a friend called tech support for me as I am not tech savvy myself. The tech led her through a series of steps to correct it. It happened again last year. This time we found it had something to do with the Rules (found in Preferences in the Mail menu.) It has been working fine since.

I tried to call Metro-Cast earlier but they had a big backlog of calls. I just called again and the support person told me it was a problem with the Windows Mail in my Window's Vista. I deleted all the messages and I'll see if it still happens. If it does I may start using my Windows Live Mail.

When an email service has a server fault, they go to their backups and restore X number of days/hours back, trying to guess where no faults or flaws maybe in the data. If you experience this often (more than once every 6 months), then that is sign of internal issues.

I know FairPoint offers DSL, but I am not aware of any others out there, at least not in Gilford.

Default Fairpoint High Speed Internet

I was told high speed internet service will be available in July time frame in the Laconia area. Give them a call.
