Prudent Granite State savers
A survey reports NH is one of only four states whose residents report having saved at least $300,000.00 for retirement.
link: https://www.gobankingrates.com/retir...ment-state/#52 My guess: most of it was earned in states other than NH. Nothing wrong with that.

Today's June 12, 2019 NY Times has a long article titled "Social Security Is Staring at Its First Real Shortfall in Decades. Big Cuts Could Follow."
Problem is too many baby boomers on the receiving end? Could be a good time to switch from that $1.29 tuna fish down to the 0.79 can of tuna fish, and start setting some money aside ..... otherwise I'll be eat'n that 0.57 Fancy Feast ...... which is very nice if you is a cat. Someone .... figure out posting this article here?

What would be nice to understand from this poll, is what was the age demographic that responded... Then maybe someone could interpret something useful from the information....

And exactly how are we to know the information that respondents gave is accurate? Their word? LMAO.... I'm sorry but that entire article is BS.
It should instead be worded as such: 23% claim they have nothing saved while 30.77% claim they have more than 300K. Like anything reality is often times much different than wishful thinking. |
