Default Downing's Landing launch ramp closed

Fish and game docks closed at Downing's Landing. Docks are piled on the top of the ramp.

Sure would have been nice to get a little advance notice 🤔

I did not see anything on their website.

Can you still park there and just use the other ramp by the town docks?

Default I would say yes

As of late yesterday, the entrance into the parking lot was not blocked off.

Depending on wind, I may park my vehicle and trailer on the road, how get the boat, and recover at the town ramp. Shouldn't be a problem for the short term with nothing going on in the bay. Even Shibley's at the Pier is closed.

Default ramp is open, no docks

F & G responded to me and informed me the ramp is still open, but no docks. Reminder; approaching the ramp on the lake, there are pilings where the old docks were. Use caution.

Default Removed?

Dave, thanks for the heads up. I seem to remember reading that those pilings were removed or cut out this past summer. Some dive company took care of it possibly.

Nope. There is a orange ball marking the group of pilings that were at the end of the pier.
