Question The Dockside in Alton

I saw the sign out front yesterday that said "Opening May 1'st, under new management". I had talked with the owner at the close of last year and he thought he'd be back this year. Was the place sold or ??? Mee is looking for her haddock sandwich fix.

I believe you will find that Dan is still the owner.

Thumbs up Save me a seat at the bar...

Just had the chicken quesedillas tonight - YUM...

The portion was HUGE and I ended up bringing some home (lunch tomorrow - SCORE!) The dish was full of meat, green peppers and onion - plenty of filling and not just tortillas with cheese with a little chicken in there... it was only $7 - good value.

I saw some other plates go by - bbq ribs, chicken sandwich, and cheese burgers. It all looked really good.

Give it a try - nice people, good food at a good value - can't beat it!

Default Excellent Fried Seafood

We had dinner at the Dockside last Saturday...fried seafood baskets. They've got a great touch with the seafood. Clams were reasonably plump and briny, scallops outstanding and shrimp and haddock very well done. And home made dessert pies to boot.
