Thanks, jst 4 kiks!! Was hoping Russ would stick to his usual just-before-Patriots Day weekend opening. Driving up to the lake this weekend and SO looking forward to stopping in. So convenient and can't wait to get those steaks on the grill - nothing better!!!!

My wife and I love their regular chicken salad and their baked potato salad is a great addition to any barbecue.

reviving an old thread cuz i havn't seen a new one posted.

OPENING FRIDAY 4-16-10. most likely when they usually open at 630 am

also, if anyone remembers another thread that it was painted to big bird yellow before winter. it has changed back to the old gray color on the entire store. the garage in the parking lot is still yellow. drove by one day and the ends (loading dock side and side with house on it) were gray. thought they would leave it like that but the next day the whole store was back to gray.

bring on the tasty subs and great meats, etc. awesome store on the neck

Glad to hear that the yellow is disappearing that was awful.....

Now I like Jo Jo's they have a wonderful butcher shop and once in a while I will get a sub. But I am finding it harder and harder to give them my business. While there subs are good and fairly priced, and I believe they have the best steaks in the area, the prices they put on everything else have gotten out of hand. I understand that I am paying for convenience however, there is a limit. It used to be a trip to Jo Jo's happens almost every weekend, but now it seems it is only reserved for those occasions where I want a sub or a good steak for the grill. I find it said really, because I love supporting a local business, however I will not allow them to take advantage of my loyalty.

They will also feel SubWay right down the street if prices are not competitive.
