Lightbulb "Curran & Joyce" bottle

I'm curious to know if any of the history buffs here might be able to help me with a little mystery. While diving off Little Bear last summer I came across an old bottle with embossed lettering. The logo on the bottle is "Curran & Joyce, Lawrence, Ma." I have done an internet search and came up with a reference to embossed soda bottles from Massachusetts but nothing more. Does anyone recall this brand and perhaps what sort of beverage they concocted? It is an attractive bottle and has earned a prominent place in our cabin; I'd just like to know more of its history...

Default Curran & Joyce Bottle

From what I found on the internet, Curran & Joyce was a brand of root beer made and bottled in Lawrence, Mass. Check out rootbeerworld.com. The website has a discussion forum that could help you find out more information about your bottle. Have fun.

Smile Thanks!

Thank you "Janet" and "Paugus Bay Resident" for your replies and links to related sites. I'm still searching for more information and am hoping that there might be someone out there who remembers this brand.
