Welcome to the forum, Rob. Good luck finding a slip--it sounds like they're in short supply. $2k also sounds low--have you rented a slip previously?

After watching the slip rental market like a hawk for 2 years before buying one for this year I would suggest you contact the link below...NOW!

https://www.winnipesaukee.com/forums...?do=ad&id=9039

I made arrangments for similar size slip in Dec '14 for '15. & Jan '16 for '16. January was late in the season to be renting and I had to settle for a marginal slip. This year is even tighter.
I am surprised anything is still available.

1. Talk to Faye's boat yard. May be able do valet if they do not have a slip.
2. Put an ad in the classified section of this website. It's free!
3. Check the classifieds in the Laconia Daily Sun (daily Tue through Sat) and the Gilford Steamer (weekly).
4. Welcome to the Forum.
5 one more thought: West Alton Marina. Slips are filled but they may have valet available.
Good luck.

Gilford for $2k and available now? Good luck with that. Slips are tight right now, and still $2k is low. Fay's is full from what I hear.

I would try Meredith Marina if valet is an option for you. They might still have availability. Welcome to the forum and I hope you find a spot for your boat.

Craigslist still shows 1 in Laconia and 1 in Alton Bay at the moment.

With a $2k Budget .... --- I think a slip (unless some private homeowner is willing) is going to be a SEVERE challenge. For the budget you have, you are more in line with Valet Service and at this point late to the game (sorry).

Try Valet's at
West Alton Marine,
Mountain View
Channell Marine

In addition to the one's previously mentioned

Good Luck

Agreed on the private dock owner being the only option for $2K!
