Thumbs up Cross machine cookies !?!

I've just noticed something "totally kewl" about the new & improved forum (I think). I was on the PC @ work this AM, read all the new posts and then, after working , went home. At home I used the laptop to checkup on a post and found that when I hit the "new posts" button only those (4) posts that had been posted since I left work came up as new. I had expected that all the posts I hadn't read via the laptop would come up as new. This was the way it worked on the old forum, with the record of new/old/read stored on the individual's machine. If my experience isn't some kind of fluke then it must be that the forum server stores the record of what posts I've read and DL's it to whatever machine I'm on whenever it recognizes me logging in. This makes using the new forum across multiple PCs much easier. Bravo Webmaster

Default clickable links

Clicking onto related newspaper and other www links set up as part of a poster's message is not doable for me as an MSN-tv user as opposed to a 'puter. With the old format I was able to do that plus the links were shown in red as I recall. Boo to the new, yea to the olde!
