Default Keeping AC Ductwork Mice Free

Hi!
Our new park model trailer has an aluminum underbelly with all entry/exit points (power/propane/plumbing) taped up with aluminum tape. I think we're good to keep mice out on that end.
The AC ductwork, however, is only a couple inches off the ground before turning up into the trailer. Though most of the flexible duct is enclosed in solid duct, the couple inches at each end are just the flexible duct wrapped with aluminum tape. Because of the spacing, it's hard to get it wrapped well. Anyone have ideas on what else I could use to wrap that small section to keep the mices from chewing through?

Thanks!

Exclamation "Great Stuff"

"Great Stuff" makes a critter-resistant foam.

There's nothing to "fill in" so much as to wrap. I just saw copper mesh, which might work well--I could wrap that around the end pieces.
