Default Looking for a Real Estate Appraiser in Moultonborough

Does anyone have a recommendation for a Real Estate Appraiser that covers the Moultonborough Area..

My mother passed away over the winter and I want to have the property Apprised, for both settling the estate, as well as understanding if either my sister or I can reasonably buy the other out, or if we need to just keep it in a mutual trust....

A real estate agent will give you a free market assessment. A good local agent will look at your property and come up with recent sale comparisons for free in the hope that you will list it with them when it comes time to sell. I'm not sure if that's good enough for your estate valuation.

A real estate appraiser is usually used when getting a loan and the bank or mortgage company wants to make sure the property is actually worth what it's selling for. Most appraisers get around $500 for an appraisal.

Sorry for your loss and good luck with your estate settlement.
