Would like to set-up a webcam overlooking Meredith Bay. Looking for info as to what is the most cost effective way to do this without compromising qualtiy. Any suggetions would be appreciated.

You'll need a decent quality camera (a 1080p IP cam goes for around $600), an Internet connection of some sort, and a server to post images to you (you don't want the entire world connecting directly to the camera).
As far as the technology goes its all very simple stuff relatively speaking.
