You're welcome. The link was intended more for other forum folks who might be interested or have never heard of Colonial Pines
I'd never heard of it but I'm from the other side of the lake. Looks like a nice place! Good Luck

You made the right choice, Cindy and Gary are very accommodating. Bring a boat!

Nice offer, but I would delete your phone number from your post and PM it to him, Don has posted before about the number of spammers trying to infiltrate this board, don't want to give them a free gift.......

It looks like a nice place, he makes great signs.......

My wife and kids spent a week there and my son's best man hosted fishing bachelor weekend 2 years ago. The cabins are clean well outfitted and the husband and wife team that own CP are the nicest people. They mostly advertised for many years by word of mouth only, which is why many people haven't heard of them. Alpine Park Road is mostly comprised of seasonal homes (like ours) but there has been in recent years more folks taking up full time residency. It is a nice quiet area of the lake and I highly recommend Colonial Pines for families that are looking for that "old fashioned" lake side experience.

Cool Colonial Pines Resort

Reviews can be read on www.airbnb.com (search on Center Harbor or Moultonborough NH).

Colonial Pines has been in business under the same family for 54 years. We strive to preserve the history of lakeside living with clean comfortable and quiet cottages (although we rent rooms in our main lodge also). We have about 60% repeat bookings and customers from all over the world. We have been 100% booked this summer and fall 2014 is looking great too.

Stop in at any time and see our beautiful location right on Center Harbor. We are non-smoking, no pets.

Smile Sighted My First New Hampshire Black Bear...

I responded to a Craigslist ad from there.

Steering into the final turn, a large black bear ambled across the road and walked between two houses as though he belonged there. (At Noon!)

Nice old-fashioned Lakes Region atmosphere, huge pines, very quiet, a great "find". Someday, I might rent there myself!

Default New Owners

My wife and I purchased the Colonial Pines Resort a few years ago from Gary & Cindy Kunz. It is now know as The Pines at Center Harbor. All the cottages have been renovated (to various degrees). Bookings can now be made directly on our website: www.thepinesnh.com

Look forward to meeting you all some day.

Default Gary & Cindy Kunz

Last year my brother bought a Four Winns bowrider from Gary Kunz. We took a test ride out of Center Harbor and my brother immediately offered to buy it. We found out Gary was originally from NJ like us and grew up in the same county about 20 minutes from us. The boat was boathouse kept and is a real cream puff.
