The Etcetera Shoppe in Meredith should have a couple pair of decent looking shaped skis up on their second floor, next to all the hockey and figure skates, golf clubs, tennis racquets & swim fins.

Default Seasonal rental

Gunstock and Piche's are offering a seasonal rental package for $150 for kids. Has anyone ever done this and if so are what are the pros and cons?

The obvious ones. Pros:You pay less than a buying a new package and return it so next year if the kids grow out of that package (i.e. bigger feet)you have a different one. Cons:None of your money goes towards owning. I personally think its a great way to do it for growing kids.

The Ski Haus in Salem, NH does the seasonal renting for $99.00.

Default Adjustable Kids Boots

In my searching around I found out that there is an adjustable ski boot for kids called the Roces 6in1 with 6 sizes of adjustment in one boot starting at $99. I plan on checking these out because it sounds like a good concept.
