With 4 to 6 inches of new snow falling in the White Mountains and Great North Woods, Ski New Hampshire predicts 12 ski areas will be open this weekend. Also, be careful when driving on slippery roads - some times the rain freezes on the roadway before the precip changes to snow as the temps drop.

It looks like Christmas is going to be a washout. This is killing me....no skiing, ice fishing and snowmobiling. Anyone for a boat ride?

A friend of mine just came back from northern Quebec and did 368 miles on his sled in two days...It's all a matter of how far you want to drive.
