Default Snowmobile Clubs

Last year I joined a local club in MA. Most of the trips for this club are far north in ME and Canada. I am looking for a club that does more trips in NH and perhaps some day trips. I have to join a NH club to get the discount to register my machine so would join one in the Lakes Region where I could meet more people.

If you belong to a club, please describe it here. I am especially interested in the club trips, activities, types of members such as mostly younger, mostly older, mostly families, etc.

Thanks

Probably your best bet is to join a club that is in the area where you plan to do the majority of your riding. Many of them have activites all season long it's just a matter of getting involved with the club instead of just sending off your membership dues to get a discount on your registration cost. There are a couple of sizable clubs in the lakes region and I don't think any one of them would be a mistake to join. You can check them out on the NH Snowmobile Association web site - http://www.nhsa.com

Thumbs up They are all fantastic

I belong to 2 clubs and send donations to 2 additional clubs as they are all fantastic groups and I use all their trails. I can not give time to work on the trails so I always send donations to help defray costs which now a days is high. I guess what I'm trying to say is, you will not go wrong joining any of the local clubs. The people are just a ball to be with and some of the meals that are put on are out of this world.

Default Mt. Major Snowmobile Club

Hi I.G. -- attached is the link for Mt Major snowmobile club, who maintains the trails from New Durham to Mt Major and over towards Gilmanton. Email the club and ask Joann, the secretary, (and my neighbor) about any trips they may offer. they meet during the week up here, and are very active.

Default 2005 Alton Winter Festival

Yikes!

I guess we'll miss the famous bed races this year. We won't be arriving from NJ till mid-afternoon on Sat. for our annual 4 day winter visit, and this year we'll be checking in in Wolfeboro about the time of the race. Hope you guys take a lot of great pictures as you usually do so we can see what we missed at the carnival.

Hi Island Girl,
This website will help you also; http://www.nhsa.com/ They have a listing of all of the snowmobile clubs here in New Hampshire.
They work every day for us snowmobilers, here in NH. and the rest of our country. http://durin.scsis.com/nhsa/servlet/...swerACT&id=340

The Wolfeboro Club does a lot of riding in the Ossipees and when we have snow they take good care of the trails.
All of the snowmobile clubs, that I have been a member, and part of, are Family.

Hope this helps.
