Default ....lost my paddle?

Yesterday, Saturday, June 6, at about maybe 3-pm, about half way between fl-3, South Bear Island and Governor's Island, my sail surprised me with a fast gype flippn' me small sailboat over, and maybe two minutes later after right'n it back up, me paddle was miss'n.

It is a double ended kayak paddle, black & blue, with two large flat blades ..... just in case some motorboater happened to pick it up.

Reward for its return: Two Dollars!

Well, we do know you've been rowing with one oar lately. Hope you find your paddle.

Default Turn about is fair play

Hey hows about you head down to Walmart and pick-up one those super duper $10 paddles. A good deal and while you wait for the return of your original you can use it for 30 days before returning it. Or I'll bet if you canvas the shoreline there is sure to be a stray paddle that seems unclaimed. Ya, thats it.

Well maybe when you find your paddle it will have washed up next to your rudder which I think you lost a long time ago

Do I wear a pfd when I go out in my small 11'10" sailboat (not including the rudder) when I go sailing? Yes, I do ...... one would have to be very dumb not to wear a pfd in a small sailboat situation like that ..... what I usually wear is a short kayak pfd plus a swimmers belt for better flotation and flexibility...plus they help to keep you warm after a dunk into the chilly lake....plus the swimmers belt acts like a lower back cushion while sitting pretzel-style and sailing.

Someone out there has my black & blue kayak paddle with flat blades....will gladly take it back....no questions asked.....and I will say a prayer for you in church on Sunday!
