Default Some helpful advise

If you see him here is some helpful advice from the owner:

"He loves cookies. If you say, 'Do you want a cookie?’ his ears will probably perk up, and he's hungry, so if you have treats or rawhide or steak or something, he'll come to you,” said Lara.

Thanks everyone for keeping an eye out. I have no relationship with the dog, I'm just a fellow dog lover who wanted to spread the word. I'm glad at least one follower here is familiar with the family and can provide updates and info so hopefully he will be found soon!

Dam, every time I open this I am hoping that it says the puppy dog has been found. Fingers are still crossed for the lost puppy.

Possible recent sightings from GSDR:
"Received a call last night (Tuesday 4/8) that someone may have seen him on Monday 4/7 around noon off Bay Hill Road near Alton Bay, between Routes 28 & 28A.

The better lead was from 5:30AM this morning (Wednesday 4/9) when someone saw a white, tall, dog-like animal with yellow/silver reflecting eyes in the headlights. He was crossing Berry Road from south to north about halfway between Stockbridge Corner Road and Valley Road."

It should also be noted that Anakin is a natural runner and may be traveling outside of Alton. Per GSDR: "His owner is desperately seeking help with posting fliers along well travelled routes and in area businesses. Please feel free to call (603) 285-5095 to see if help is needed in your area.
This simple flier can be printed in black & white, slipped into a plastic sheet protector and posted on telephone poles (heavy duty staple gun on all four corners), also in any business along the way."

Keep your eyes open if you are in or near Alton.

Didn't one of the threads here mention putting a piece of the owners worn clothing in an area that could be monitored? If the pet should come across this it may hang close by that area?

I know someone that did this many times while hiking. The dog was a jack Russel with a bit of beagle tossed in. If he got a scent he was gone. He would lay his coat near the parking area and go get lunch... Or come back the next day and the dog would be sitting on the coat waiting.

This was many years ago and I'm not recommending it as "good pet care". But it does work.
