Default Melvin Moose

A pair of young (yet pretty big) moose spotted along 109 near 20 Mile Bay on Saturday evening. I saw the same pair the next morning down in Melvin Village (bottom photo)...obviously on a north-bound trek. Sorry for the camera phone images...

Yes we were there too and saw them. I took a picture with my lousy camera but haven't had a chance to edit it.

We had a moose pass through our yard yesterday. We love seeing the bears and the moose. Isn't the Lakes Region a great place to live or what!

We had one runnin' down our dirt road yesterday morning. Looked like he/she was headed towards Ashland...

We had this same pair of moose stroll past our house within 10 feet on Sat. morning. The field you photographed abutts our property. They appeared to be a mother and her 1 year old "baby". Really neat!

Here's hoping they stay a bit further from the road.
