Default County Credit Downgraded

http://www.laconiadailysun.com/newsx...de-on-finances

So, is this a big ominous item or what? Seems like it is, and simply raising the county property tax rate is usually not done by local republicans. So, what to do? Could well be that some of the three county commissioners will chose not to run for re-election in November and avoid this problem by passing it along to the next guy.

You know ...... when the going gets tough ..... the smart ones choose to exit stage door right. Time will tell?

LOL... nothing changes but the faces and names. While political parties war to gain power, the promises made to gain that power by swaying clueless voters to vote for them, always results in pain to the voter. Until... voters realize their greed for something for nothing only promises the same result. Time moves on to that day of reckoning...

Where have you been all my life? The biggest, easiest money in the world is political fund raising. The party doesn't matter, The lobby doesn't matter, just promise your chosen special interest group that the money will get to the right people and BAM. Both parties are demonstrably anti American....Oh, this has nothing to do with the post, Sorry. Just raise taxes.

Some of you have been watching too much TV news. In NH, the counties are run by "the county delegation" These are the same people you elected as state representatives. The County Commissioners propose the budget, but the delegation passes it. And here's a surprise, if they pass a tax increase they have to pay it too, out of that $100 annual salary. BTW, I've known bunches of State Reps over the years. Most do not do fund raising, or spend huge sums campaigning.

I said my rant had nothing to do with the post. Just showing my appreciation for finding someone who actually blames both party's for destroying our country bit by bit. Refreshing.

You really think that the $100 the people get is the only money they have to live on or pay taxes?? Maybe it's you who has been watching too much TV.

Of course not. But it's a lot different than the tens of thousands paid to reps from other states with readers on this forum.
