Default Chaparral Boats?

I have decided to add Chaparral to my next boat search list.

I will be buying new and am interested in the 21' and 23' SSI Outboard models.

It would replace a SeaRay.

If you have any feedback on these boats or experience with the brand in general please share it.

This boat will be acquired in FL and used in salt water so that is why I am looking at an outboard powered one.

Thanks!

I haven't looked at recent model year Chaparall boats... But in the past they where good quality, and I would have put the between Sea-Ray and Colbalt....
Fancier then one, but not as fancy as the other. I even think they where a bit nicer then say a Four Winns....

What I did find the last time I was looking for a boat, was the the Chaparal boats seemed to most often times be power set up from a drive train perspective. I don't think they where under powered, but I think they didn't spend enough time properly setting up the outdrives which always seem to be to low....
