This is from the same people who predicted an above average hurricane season....not one drop of rain touched US soil as result of a storm.

I agree....take forecasts with a grain of salt.

Always be prepared.

So basically in a nutshell what you can take away from this is colder up north and warmer to the south. Wow amazing...

The NOAA report makes an interesting re-read at this time.

The "Old Farmer's Almanac" predicted below average temps and above average snow for "most of U. S." but wasn't great about specific location of this.

And these guys get paid for this? LOL Someone forgot to send the Polar Vortex a copy of this prediction.

In some ways, the Farmer's Almanac is uncannily accurate. I note, for example, that it predicted that in the northeast the sixteenth of September would fall on a Tuesday this year. Not bad!!!
