Default Boat launches

Looking for a place to launch our boat every weekend... Any suggestions that have trailer parking close by?

Can an 18 foot boat fit under the Back Bay Bridge in Wolfeboro?

SimpleTL, the length of your boat would not be the issue. You need to figure out the height of your boat from the water line to the top of the highest point on the boat, perhaps the windshield.

Let's say it's 4 1/2 ft. Bridge clearance listed at 5 feet, your just barely ok. Lake 8 inches high, probably won't make it.

Thumbs up

Speaking of boat launches, Meredith just improved theirs by adding much needed room to where you pull in to back up. It was extremely difficult to launch if you had a long truck with a long boat. They made it longer and wider.

I watched a guy launch a fairly long bass boat with a long crew cab 8' bed pick up last night with ease.
He said he use to have to pull half way into the street to launch before.

The fish and game launch in Alton Bay has a large parking area and it is free.
On weekends get there by 8:00 to get a parking spot. Easy in and easy out.
