Looking for snow ..... it's goodbye Lakes Region ....... and hellooooo Bethlehem or Pittsburg or useless in Eustis, Maine .....or somewhere .... 2-3 hours up north ...... or, down in Hillsborough, NH ....or somewhere?

That's what I got back in Waltham but it was heavy as mud. I'd rather have 2 feet of powder.
It would have been 2 feet of powder if it was colder.

I'm guessing 16-18 inches here in Londonderry of VERY heavy (good for snowmen and snow fort building) snow. Took 2 hours to clear the driveway. I WAS really enjoying seeing my lawn these past few weeks. Now I have to wait for all this to melt again. Lawn was also pretty dried out before the storm so I will have to trudge through the "muddy season" again.

Sounds like there could be some decent conditions at Gunstock this weekend.

No power...no heat....and allegedly it's not coming back on for a while, so up to Meredith we went! BAck in MA is just rats' nest after rats' nest of wires, tree limbs, snow, etc.

At 10am this morning, right at 10 inches of very heavy, wet snow in Alton, west side of the bay, a half mile west of Sandy Point, and half mile above the bay. Packs down like concrete. After snowblowing, big portion of our driveway is down to the pavement.

It's never stopped snowing here in Wolfeboro. Latest forecast is continued snow until 10pm.

Judging from shoveling my drive and walk, it's about 14" so far. Much of it has blown off the roof, at least.

Default About 8" in Laconia

It was fantastic at the rockpile yesterday morning. (Gunstock) By noon time the trails/slopes were shot. Hopefully they will groom during the night for the weekend warriors.

Can't wait for Monday to get back on the boards and cruise.

Sorry I missed checking in before now - so you must already know that power is fine, never went out.

Higher temps and sunny Friday has the snow melting/compacting pretty fast!

We've got about 16" in Meredith this morning and it's still snowing right now. I hear the SE of the lake got over 2 feet. Any reports from Wolfeboro?

Looks like 15-18" here. A little hard to find a consistant # here as the wind was blowing snow around most of the day

I don't get it - riding and snow was fantastic till I stickered one of my sleds then it all goes to hell and never really did recover from that.

Spring was nearly here, warm weather no snow on the ground, summarize my machines push the trailer into the back yard and next thing I know a couple weeks later there is 4 feet of snow in my yard and even more on the way?

I give up.

I guess you haven't lived in this area of the country for very long to if you thought we wouldn't get any snow in March.

Pretty tough sledding in a warm weather climate where it doesn't snow a lot.

Don't give up just go North of the border a little for fantastic full season riding....Here's a pic a friend of mine sent me last night. They are in the middle of doing the Gaspe loop in Quebec and this is a photo of his back door at the hotel they are staying at...

That's pretty crazy, with that much snow the riding must be epic though! Thanks for sharing.

I remember going to Quebec City for a hockey Tournament many years ago and the ranch home of the billet family that my son stayed with was almost covered with snow. It was a good ten feet, there was a cavern to the front door. I had never seen that much snow before or since.

Meteorologists are now saying that we (greater New England) might be spared from the next storm systems passing south! Fine by me!
