Odd boathouse/building near Kona property
Does anyone know the history of the strange building with white "wings" on the peak and the accompanying "boathouse" at the end of the jetty that is located on the Kona Mansion shores property due east of Blueberry Island on Moultonborough neck? I'm not talking about the Swallow boathouse. This is a pair of red buildings with white "wings". I searched the forums with no success. Sorry, forgot to take a picture.

I think it is for sale with the Kona Farm for $6 million now. I recall a gas dock that closed before mid-1970's there.

I've always believed the "wings" were actually intended to represent Moose antlers.

disrepair
Well, it lost an antler.
So is the on-shore building a house or function hall or something else? What was it initially? Here's a pic from the real estate listing....https://a10e3ce81812d2c62d8f-ff67b35...76949d8-3-.jpg |
