Default Vet and dog groomer recommendations?

We are in Alton and have a rescue German Shepherd who is a delight.
We are looking for recommendations on a good area vet, a dog groomer and a good place to put her up for a day or two occasionally

THANKS!

I just received a recommendation for Winter Harbor Veterinary for our lab... But that may be further than you wish to drive.
Can't recommend a groomer, but I recently visited Alton Bed and Biscuit (www.altonbedandbiscuit.com) as we will have to board our lab from time to time. We had a good visit and liked the establishment . It will be convenient for us on our way to Boston or other points south.
I will be visiting Lakes Region Pet Resort (www.lakesregionpetresort.com) so that we have a a choice in the future.

Although it may be far, Karynn's in Moultonboro is great! She has the grooming and sitting, and is right under Meadow Pond Vets..right on rt 25 past Murphy's Store on the right...

I love Audrey at Lakeside Grooming just over the line from alton in Gilmanton. Here's my little "Jake McDude" as pictured on her web page!

you'll also find Audrey's recommendations for vets and boarding on the webpage.

We don't board our dogs, they are too spoiled but Linda Clifford boards and grooms. She is just off the Alton Road, Rt 28. I think it is Drew Hill Road.

We called and visited Audrey on Saturday. She is a real dog lover and treated our German Shepherd dog with loving care. We clipped her nails- gave us a welcome gift bag- and we set up an appointment for a grooming later this month.
Thank you for such a great recommendation!

Did you have any trouble finding the place?...It's a bit off the beaten path!
So glad you were able to hook up with Audrey....she's the best!

We highly recommend Dr Jonna Fulton at VCA. She rotates between their facility in Laconia and one in Gilford. She is very experienced, warm & caring, and smart, with great diagnostic instincts.

I am not sure but I believe they may also do boarding, day care and grooming.
