Winnisquam Ice Fishing
I am taking a couple of my grandkids out on the lake ice fishing this weekend. I haven't been out in many years, I'll be dusting off some old equipment and I even brushed 8 years of dust off the snowmobile and got her running...
Any fishing tips for lake Winnisquam you're willing to share? Not looking for anything big, just hoping to have some flags popping up for the grandkids to chase. We will be ion the west side of the lake, a bit south of Three Islands... |

Winnisquam
Hi I'm a bit further down on the East shore (Leighton Ave before Loon Island) -Projects have stopped me from ice fishing this season so far, but I've talked too many of the same people out each weekend. They have taken nice fish just north of your area with shiners and tip up's this season. White perch and quite a few Lakers. Some nice cusk with drop lines as well. They are fishing in 30-50 feet of water and closer to the western shore & just North of 3 Islands.
Sorry I'm not more help but I'm sure Winnisquam market & Deli will have more information & of course bait. Good luck |
