Guiseppe's in Meredith - Geovanni Passes Away
I thought I read something happening to the musician at Guiseppe's, a Mr. Varano. Did I read something or am I just imagining things.

So sorry to hear of his passing. My family has 10 years worth of memories enjoying his music while eating the delicious food at Guiseppe's. He will be missed but I'm sure he's playing some heavenly music at that great restaurant in the sky!!

This information is so sad! Mr. Varano's was a fixture there. Sorry to the staff and guests for their loss!

Oh nooooooo! That is horribly sad news. He was such a nice man. Every time I was in there with my kids he would play a little "Peanuts" tune or something they liked. He would smile at them and they would run up and each put a dollar in the tip jar.
The end of an era. Mr. Varano you will be missed. |

He was a legend with us
My wife and I frequent Guisseppes on Saturday nights and always enjoyed the soothing tones from his piano, you know, kind of being at a piano recital, with good old dinner music mixed in. One night out of the blue he just started playing Warren Zevon's "Werewolves on London", complete with the howling! Wahooo.... We will always remember that moment!

He was a very nice man and a talented entertainer. So much a part of the local "color" that kept us coming back to Giuseppe's.
He will be missed! R2B |
