Default Lakeside Grooming

A little out of the way, but, I can't speak highly enough of Audrey at Lakeside Grooming in Gilmanton over on Crystal Lake. She has a "salon" in her home and really goes the extra distance to provide good service. She puts photos of all of her clients on her webpage. Here's some pics of my Jake when he was just a puppy......

OK....here's an idea for some entrepeneur out there.A mobile dog grooming servive.
I was visiting my daughter in western Mass recently when the "Wolf Wagon" pulled up to groom her golden retriever. The Wolf Wagon is a van outfitted with a tub, dryers and everything you need to groom your dog.
$65 later, miss Rosie was smelling just fine.I asked the ladies how business was and they said they could barely keep because they have 800 clients.....I think they visit on a 6 week schedule.

Too late Sam. There is one, maybe two now in the Wolfeboro/Tuftonboro area and another one who did it for years but gave it up.

I just learned that Dover High School has a pet-tech department in their Vocational School. They do grooming on Thursdays for - get this - $10.

We're taking our dog there tomorrow for grooming and I'll let you know how it goes.
