Default Lakes Best Fireworks Show this Saturday Night! WOLFEBORO BAY !

Load those Boat Coolers with adult beverages and be floating in Wolfeboro Bay This Saturday, July 2nd, at Sundown if you want to see the best home show fireworks on the Lake!

Last year (July 2015) many of you asked if we had any video clips to show from past years, and we didn’t have any. So Knowing that we shot a bunch of video, here are a few 2015 links, if they work then they will get you ready for viewing some fireworks!

I think that's worth a trip down the lake from Bear Island, if the weather looks good I'll be there!

Default Fireworks Date??

The Wolfeboro Chamber of Commerce website indicates the fireworks will be held on Monday, July 4. Am I reading this wrong?

One caveat if you're travelling by boat. It is expected to be quite windy this weekend making egress a little more challenging. Be careful out there.

This is not the official Wolfeboro fireworks. This spectacular fireworks display is put on by a private family group. The fireworks are over between Goodhue Hawkins and the downtown area. It is quite the show, and worth the trip. Hoping for good weather.

How have I been on the lake for so long and never know about this? I think we'll try to make it across and be in the bay. I can't find good times for other fireworks on the lake especially since I have to be back home Monday night and my boys won't stay awake for midnight at the weirs.

Pretty breezy out there right now and it's not supposed to back off a huge amount this evening. The launch site is protected from the NW breeze, but it may be challenge for boaters. Right now the breeze is sneaking into Wolfeboro Bay pretty well too.

On the plus side it's making for a nice quiet day. There have only been a small handful of boats braving the broads today.

Question

The fireworks sounded really nice.

It was pretty wild out there at 6 this evening. There were a few boats out getting pounded in 3 foot swells. It would not have been a fun ride back in the dark.

Default Wolfeboro fireworks

Great show again. Went on and on and on for 30 minutes. Almost continuous finally. Great show with Patriotic music blaring across the bay. Many many boats were there. By far best fireworks then anywhere.

Thanks for the GREAT show!

We were the first boat there, and we're actually there before the fireworks barge was even set up.

We anchored and started grilling our dinner and watched them set up the show.

The whole thing was amazing from start to finish!

My girlfriend said "wow that was amazing!" Just as the small barge just about finished firing off its load. But then the large barge started shooting it's mortars, we realized that the smaller barge was just the appetizer!

We saw some effects that we have never seen before. It was truly one of the best shows I've seen.

Luckily my 38 ft boat handled the whitecaps on the broads easily so it was a fun ride out. By the time the show was over the wind had died down a lot so the trip back was easy.

Thanks again!

We went (by car) to the 7 pm Cate Park concert with Annie & the Orphans. They were finishing up with the fireworks in the background. Fun concert and great fireworks display! We started the evening with ice cream from Bailey's Bubble . Lovin' life @ the lake!

I couldn't even get out of my slip yesterday so we missed the show. I'm glad the wind died down enough to not prevent it from happening.

Thank you - thank you !!

GREAT DISPLAY - by far the best on the lake and puts the town efforts to shame.

The show (as last year) starts with Neil Diamond's "America" and goes full steam fireworks for 45 minutes (yes we timed it). And this isn't like a sad Wier's show with one at at time fireworks -- it's 45 minutes of finally!!

A bit choppy on the way over, but we rode with the wind coming from Gilford -- but it did feel more like a late Fall nite on the way home (brrr chilly).

Thank you .... Thank you !! Totally Awesome

Default Sad News

All,

We regret to inform everyone that due to a unique mix of events this year, the family will be taking a year off from the cookout/fireworks show. I guess this year we will have to get in our boats and venture out to enjoy some of the other great displays that are going on.

Thanks Everyone for the past support, we hope to be back at it in 2018.

Default BEST show!!

This is THE best fireworks show we have ever seen on the lake. Year after year. We belong to the Wolfeboro Corinthian Yacht Club and watch from our long dock. Lots of folks come on down for the show. Hope it comes back for 2018.

There is a pretty good private display put on over by Black Cat Island. It is usually set up on a tiny little island (not Becky's Garden...the other side of the bridge) its on the mainland side, across from the Island...Moutonboro side of the bridge...
