Sorry I missed the Dr. when he was in town.I was going to tell him about the tunnel that we found and also the trap door in the kitchen that went to a secret stairway.
We had to demolish the ell with the kitchen because it was in pretty bad shape and I had spotted the old trap door with a brass ring set in it.I asked the excavator operator to save it but it ended up in the dump.
