Pallets for free?
I have a plastic 4-barrel garbage bin coming in next week - the critters out here have figured out the rubbermaid trash barrel lids. I read that they warp unless you put them on a hard and level surface. Does anyone know of a place around here that is filthy with pallets and they are happy to give them away rather than constantly dealing with them?
RSVP if you know of any, and thanks Cal |

I probably will have a couple available at the end of September. Let me know if you have not found some otherwise by then.

Ammonia will discourage the critters, probably racoons. Just pour a quarter to half cup over the trash in the container and close the lid. Repeat every day or two, they get the message.
I got tired of dealing with them, so I called Barbara at Good Neighbor Services, she comes right into the garage to get the trash so I don't worry about the bears and racoons any more. http://goodneighborservicesnh.com/ |

Heaths True Value in Center Harbor keeps some in the back corner near loading dock free for the taking.

In Waterville Valley, in a dirt public parking lot, close to the skateboard park and Town Square, there's a largest size Dumpster Depot orange dumpster loaded to the top with clean, brand new looking, pine wood pallets, and cement cinder blocks. Is left over from the recent www.outessa.com big bucks-tent city, and think it will be hauled away soon.
Is trash in a public spot so is probably ok to go dumpster diving here ...... recycle-reuse-renew? If you find my lost hubcap in there, let me know! am not kidding!
