Default H A P P Y T H A N K S G I V I N G ! ! !

A Happy Thanksgiving to everyone on the forum! If you are travelling, BE SAFE as the weather is not supposed to be too cooperative. I was reminded of a Thanksgiving thread we had some fun with last year when in "random images" up popped a picture of my Turkey Recipe from last year and upthesaukee's Thanksgiving Poem. I was curious as to whether SIKSUKR or Pepper would be trying the recipe this year?

Default Happy Thanksgiving!

Hopefully the white Thanksgiving will be a blessing for many of us. Ski areas will be open for those who enjoy the winter sport and burn off all those calories.

Default thankful for

the fact in 28 days, the days will start getting longer again...and we will soon enough be back out on the Upthesaukee in the sunshine , and in the shade of the woods looking for our golf balls . In the meantime, enjoy the holidays, hopefully with friends and or families; enjoy the beauty, happiness, and excitement that winter activities can bring; and above all, be safe, be healthy, and most especially be happy.

Best to all this holiday season.

Yes, we all have much to be thankful for, more than we realize sometimes.

I think the snow dancers have been at it from the forecast. Now I have to drive to PA. tomorrow in the mess. I am thankful that I kept my 4X4 so I can partake of the ceremonial bird.

Default Snow Dancing works

It is early Thanksgiving morning here in Arlington, MA. I am at my daughter's house. There is a beautiful white frosting on the ground.. so pretty. I know others got a lot more. Be careful out there... sorry the snow dance got such quick results.

Have a great day!

Having spent many summers at "the lake" I am so thankful for all the people on this forum and especially to the wonderful picture posts by all. The memories and , especially the webcams, are important to all of us so far away from " home".Have a Happy Thanksgiving- everyone-- I am making plans - right now- to attend next year's FORUMFEST. The hurricane season in Florida won't stop me this time! God Bless--

Default Happy Thanksgiving

Just looked at the Web Cams around the Lake and I see your getting snow.
It is snowing here in southern central mass to.
I've got everything I need, food, beer, wine, and an nice warm fire going.
I don't have to go anywhere and I don't expect any visitors today.
I'll have dinner, with soft replaxing music and I'll be thinking of all of the forum members, in hopes they are enjoying the same and everyone is safe and happy with loved ones.

So! Happy Thanksgiving to all!

It's 10 AM, it is snowing lightly, Snake Eyes shows the ice on the shoreline at the bottom of the frame, Weirs cam shows the snow on the deck that just a few months ago was crowded with patrons, there is about an inch of snow on our railing, the snowplow has been by once, I am all set up to use the roof rake on the back roof, the polar bear-christmas tree-Grinch lawn things are inflated and carrying a mantel of snow, one turkey is in the oven, and the other one is here on the forum admiring Pepper's & IG's snow dance results .

Of course extended forecast is for temps to get into the fifties next week . Oh well it's early in the year. Happy Thanksgiving all!!!!!!

Talking Snowdancing and Snow Tires!

Considering the swift results netted by those of us performing the snowdance, I am particularly thankful that yesterday I was able to have four studded snowtires installed on my car!

Default whirling dervish

Well I’m glad the dancing worked for you. My family had driving issues with the roads. Nashua to Wolfeboro extra 45 minutes. Portland to Bow extra hour. Wolfeboro to Concord no problem (I think they are still use to Colorado). I had no problem in FL (perfect day and turkey).
I have a request for the Babes Dancing. Please save some of your energy until Dec. 21. I fly in on the 20th and need to get from Manchester to Wolfeboro without meeting any trees in the car. I do need to get my “snow fix” on the 21st. On the 21st , please dance the whirling dervish.

The holidays have started Harrah.

Thumbs up The need to continue the snow dance

This poor soul needs to continue the snow dance a few more days as I'm satiated, full, stuffed, heavy in the belly, want to cat nap all the time. Is there anyone else that over indulged in a fantastic meal and just could not say no to anything that was offered to them? The darn guy came and plowed the drive so I couldn't even play out there with a shovel. Notice I said Play. Hope you all feel the way I do and had a fantastic turkey or what ever day.

Default Belated Thanksgiving

A belated Happy Thanksgiving to you all! I hope that all of you had your fill of good food and were able to spend time with family and friends alike.

The snow results were pretty good for this early in the season so IG & Pepper keep up the good work!

McDude, we were at a family members home for turkey day but we do intend to cook a turkey for ourselves soon and I want to try the Bikini version. Mrs. JS is resisting but I will work on her.

As many of you have already said I too am greatful for the wonderfull members of this forum. It is such a great community to be a part of. So to all of you: may the whole holiday season be your best ever.

I am ready now the snow blower was started yesterday so let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
