search the web for the town you want...
....you can do a simple web search for " (town name) july 4 2016 fireworks" and you should get the results you're looking for. Meredith itself typically does them on the evening of the 4th "at dusk" over the bay.

The fireworks schedules have been up on the Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce site for quite some time now. They seem to have the majority of the events around but may be missing some.

If they are there, they are hiding them well. Tried viewing events from July 1-5. Tried search with keyword "fireworks". No luck yet.

thanks.........thought I was missing something. Meredith Chamber of Commerce event calendar shows a pic of fireworks under" July", but no day/date. I'm only interested because although we'll be up the week prior, I made a reservation for my grandson to stay at Mill Falls Inn for July 4 and I thought it would be neat if he could see the fireworks in Meredith Bay.

Watch for Center Harbors fire works. The fire department is celebrating 100 years and has doubled its funds this year from a donation from the Center Harbor Community Developement Committee, a group comprised of local merchants, non-political. Center Harbor had a very good display last year so I suspect it will be well worth viewing this year.

I was looking for one place that had all the info, but couldn't find one, so here are the options to watch from water--for landlubbers, check here: http://www.nhmagazine.com/NH-Fourth-of-July-Events/.
July 3rd: Weirs Beach: 11:59 (Boardwalk) July 4th: Moultonborough/Center Harbor: Dusk (Center Harbor Beach/Harbor) Meredith: Dusk (Bay) Wolfeboro: 9:30 (Bay--I saw these last year, and it was super cool because there are a few different groups of people who do their own--about a full hour show, all together) |

fire works
Confused on use of Fireworks. My neighbor tells me today that you can't legally shoot off fireworks. Go figure, there are numerous firework stores selling fire works in NH, but you can't legally light them off in NH, how does that work??

I can't believe a search yielded no results on talking about the meaning of the 4th.
Have a talk with your kids, don't rely on what the schools/government teaches, have them read it and ask questions. They deserve to know what it means, before it disappears into: where are the fireworks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-Be9f7Ovgg |

great show
Went by boat last night to Ctr Harbor show. A little over 1/2 hour long with a 5 minute grand finale. Great show for a small town. Then right after the show there were a few homes from shore and one from on top of the hill putting on some really good displays.

Best private display too
We watched from near Becky's Garden and just as we turned to head home after the Center Harbor finale we were treated to another finale from one of the houses nearby. I had two thoughts other than wow what a show: had to be really expensive to buy all those fireworks and its really dangerous to fire them off.
