Default What's this fish?

My son caught this fish off our docks in Moultonborough yesterday but we've never seen one like it. It was 1 lb 8 oz and about 10 " long. Someone said it was a chub.

I've always called them a Dace but Chub is probably the correct name.

As mentioned, Chub aka Dace in some parts. These are still fun to catch for a child. Not something that I would personally eat. They are typically caught in warmer or still waters.
