Live wells and fish boxes

I'm considering purchasing a boat with a built in live well, but no fish boxes. The boat will spend the majority of its time in Florida, but some on Winni as well.

Looking for thoughts on how to keep the "daily catch" fresh without an integrated fish box. I'm assuming that taking along a good dedicated fish cooler is a start. Any tried and true cooler recommendations, cooler securing techniques, other advice greatly appreciated.

I'll be mostly bass and trout fishing on Winni and bay fishing in Florida.

You can't have any fish alive in your live well "except" if you are in a registered bass Tournament.

As for fish boxes most roto molded boxes are a good choice. For Winni you don't need a large one.

or just fill up the live well with ice instead of water. use it as a cooler/fish box.

Thanks very much for the suggestion. While on Winni I'll likely be using something other than live bait, so using the live well as an ice box is a great idea!
