No offense but this time of year to us snow lovers RAIN is the dirty little 4 letter word.

Default Thanks for Nothing!

Since the low is originating here off the coast of NC, I'll try to make sure there's enough moisture and cold to get the season started right!

Rain only here. Will mess up my golf plans.

we've already had a couple of flurries here in Wolfeboro - including right now...

It's not sticking, but still looks great!

Played my final round of golf for the year today in "Feels Like" temperature of 33, gusty winds and continuous light snow on holes 8 through 13. I officially surrender to Mother Nature!

Default NJ too

One year ago yesterday we had 5 inches of snow here in northern NJ, so snow next week is believable. Last night the NYC TV weatherman mentioned a chance of seeing some snow next Tues. or Wed. He showed pictures of last November's snowfall just a week after Hurricane Sandy.

Music Man, I just noticed that you are fairly new to posting on the forum and glad you have joined us. Have fun and enjoy the Winni Forum while making many new friends.

We also had several good heavy snow showers come through here on Alton mountain. I guess that time has really come to us here now.
