As a point of comparison, on the D trail in Alton in the Rand Hill Rd section, I only had 2 inches of snow with 3/8 inch ice/frozen precipitation on top of that. No fun shoveling 😠 .

Not so certain this will be the big one. Just got a Winter Weather Advisory for tomorrow, including all of the Lakes Region, for 3-6 inches. Higher amounts will be toward the coast and south toward Massachusetts. Big deal down there.
Big worry for us will be the drop in temperatures with winds increasing causing dangerous wind chills. In any case, be careful out there over the next days through the weekend. Sent from my GT-P5210 using Winnipesaukee Forum mobile app

Yes, here in MA the media hypes it up if we're getting 3" of snow. They prep us for 18" and we got about 10 - 12" here in Newton. I don't believe it any more until I see it! We'll see about tomorrow. Wednesday it won't snow if it's 40! By the way I'm a snow lover so I'm always disappointed when we don't get a blizzard. My students are too but 2 snow days should keep them happy.

Snow totals in the Meredith area this last storm, anyone? I just dug a path to my oil tank this past weekend. I'm guessing I'm going to have to do it again next weekend as I'm down below 1/2 tank.

Rand Hill Rd, Alton, "D" Trail, 10 inches of fluffy powder. Easy to clear off; bad news was there was 10 inches to clear off.
