Bridge Diner in Wolfeboro is now gone......
Tried to stop in at the old Wolfeboro Diner this morning (recently doing business as the Bridge Diner) and owned by the Farmer's Kitchen in Farmington. They're gone!
I think they were only there for a couple of years so I am guessing that they couldn't make a go of it. Anyone know for sure why the sudden departure? There is a sign in the window of a new business going in there, and it will be called the Bay Diner. Anyone know anything about the folks who plan to open the Bay Diner? I hope they have previous restaurant experience and will be successful at it. Great location with a lot of foot traffic....... |

Went to Farmers Kitchen last year, great breakfast. Their website says one of the reasons for closing that location is building issues. Hopefully fixed for new business. Was looking forward to going again this year.......

Susie and John Hutchins are going to open the "Bay Diner" I think it is called. They are a wonderful couple. It's a tough location because of the size. |

Any updates on the new place, The Bay Diner, in Wolfeboro?
We were supposed to go on the skis this AM, but DW was sick overnight. We're going to try and sneak it in sometime later in the week...especially if we hear some good reviews! Sent from my SM-G990U1 using Tapatalk |

We eat there weekly; the servers stayed and the food seems to be as good as ever- this week is the busiest of the year, so unless you're there by 8:30 AM, prepare to wait outside-there's only 7 booths inside. New owners are long time Wolfeboro people that everyone knows.
The lines can be very long and out of towners are in no rush once they get seated, taking cell phone photos of their meals... |

Arrived at 8:30 this AM, Wednesday the 6th of July, and there was no wait...until about five minutes after we got here.
Food and prices remain excellent, which I'm stoked about—the Farmer's Kitchen was one of our favorite breakfast places. Sent from my SM-G990U1 using Tapatalk |

A day later….
We arrived at 8:30, were seated right away, and had a very delicious breakfast, great service, and a chat with the new owner. By the time we left, there was a line outside….so getting there early is the ticket.

Went down to the Bay Diner this morning (July 9th) and they were closed up tight. Not sure exactly what the issue was being a Saturday morning.
FYI: Went to Nolan's yesterday for lunch, and they were also closed up tight. Nolan's did have a sign out that Friday evening would offer ONLY Pizza and Salads as their kitchen would be closed....... Today, Nolan's is also closed for lunch. Things aren't looking too good these days! |

Bridge Diner in Wolfeboro
I believe there is a sign on the door saying they were having a problem with their grill.

We have had people going into Starbucks down here in Florida at 10 AM and finding it closed. No one can get help anywhere.

It's gotten so bad that I see employer's advertising for "help wanted" on big, roadside billboards.

I am pretty sure Lone Wolfe and Beveridge are always closed Mondays as part of their normal hours.
