The Tuftonboro Association
Post Office Box 121
Melvin Village, New Hampshire 03850

On Monday evening, September 14, 2015, Hans Hug, Jr., noted scuba diver and history buff from Exeter, NH, will present a program “What Lies Beneath Lake Winnipesaukee?” at the Annual Meeting of the Tuftonboro Association. The public is welcome to attend the event which will be held at the Tuftonboro Central School, 205 Middle Road (route 109-A), Center Tuftonboro, NH, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Hans has been an avid scuba diver for 26 years and has dived extensively in Lake Winnipesaukee. He has located more than 70 wrecks, captured images of them on side scan sonar, and photographed and/or videotaped many as well.

Hans’ presentation will include a history of the Big Lake, plus a narration about many of the wrecks he has found. He will present an underwater video of one of his shipwreck dives.

There is no charge to attend the Annual Meeting and hear Hans’ presentation. Refreshments will be available.
