Default Outboard Impeller replacement

I am considering replacing the impeller on my 1985 evinrude 185 vro. Has anyone ever changed this on their own or is this something I should let a boat yard do? I am pretty handy and good with tools.
Thank you.

I've never done one on that engine model, but I've never found any to be difficult. Buy a service manual and give it a go. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
