Default Holy Grail - Irish Pub/Restaurant

What happened to the Irish Pub that was supposed to open in the vacated church in Laconia? Is that deal dead or still pending?

There's one in Epping. Very popular. The idea was cool, but it's not fun place to eat (for me) because the church has excellent acoustics and the noise in there is deafening.

They found asbestos in the building and have to remove it before they can open. That's why we have federal, state and local regulations.

That's why we don't go there any more. Its the halfway point to meet friends but its so loud we can't hear each other talk without raising our voices. And that only adds to the sound level.

Default Parking

Does the church have its own parking lot or is it public? I live in Gilford and NEVER venture "right" at the light so I have no idea. Hoping they have a big enough following and marketing budget to 'show people the way'.

The Holy Grail will be in Veteran's Square in Laconia, across from the old railroad station.

Parking there can be tough.

Default Holy Grail

Today in the Citizen: http://thecitizen.villagesoup.com/p/...aconia/1328290

Looks like the city is doing things right after all. Helping businesses be able to settle in with the right utilities instead of compromise.

As noted, skilled labor is becoming scarce.
