Default Bees nest in my boat!

Opened up the boat for the first time this Spring due to the weather being so bad. Found about 600 yellow jackets dead in the boat. In the head, on the floor of the galley, in the storage lockers under the seats, under the mattresses, mid-berth, and weirdly enough I found a huge mass of them under one of the little carpets, that protects the main carpet near the forward berth. I was wondering why they went under there
Anyway, this is what I found in the anchor rope locker.

On the floor of the galley...Looks like pretty much the rest of the boat.

Yeah I had fun vacuuming all those up. And the nest smelled bad as soon as I touched it with the vacuum. Blechk........

Exclamation Bees in Your Boat

What a nasty surprise! Thankfully they were dead or this might have been a different story.
