Need Wooden Dock Builder
I own a property management business and have a customer that wants to build a new large wooden dock to replace an existing wooden dock next spring. I am looking for someone with quality craftsmanship and dependable service in the Lakes Region area. I will also need assistance with permitting. I looked in the yellow pages and found 4 companies: Winnipesaukee Marine Construction, Howland Home Improvement, Lakes Region Dock and Folsom Design and Construction. I would appreciate feedback on these as well as any others.
Many thanks! Susan |

We used Winnipesaukee Marine and they were great to deal with and did a good job. We had them build a dock, repair our breakwater and do some stump and rock removal. One all projects, they were great to work with!

I used Lake Region Marine, once for a tilt up and once for a breakwater and permanent dock, and they did a great job for me. I would recommend them highly.

I second Webbsatwinni's suggestion - we used Winnipesaukee Marine and were very happy.

I second Watermark
They will not be the cheapest but have the reputation for doing the highest quality work on the lake.

I was in the same spot
I called several but the calls were not returned and I was getting a bit frustrated. Using this forum, Diversified Marine was recommended to me and Dave Farley was great. He handled the permitting, the tear down of the old dock and did a wonderful job at a very competitive price. He also had some of hhis guys do some landscaping for me. They are out of Gilford and I would recommend adding them to you "talk to" list.
