Ok...Here is the Suissevale bear....
Visited me again this morning. had her two cubs with her so I stayed away. Only got one pic off and that scared her enough to turn and run. Damn leaves made too much noise. I couldn't sneek up any closer. I had to use telephoto without a tripod......

Try this...
Paul Fire up the Cobra and I bet the bear drops some scat and never comes back.

Matt, It came back tonight. Was foraging down in the woods for quite a while tonight. I got a couple more pics. It ran the first time it saw me, but then stopped and came back when it saw I wasn't any threat I guess. I have noticed that the foxes stay away when the bear is around. As soon as it left the foxes were out and about. hmmmm......
Oh and the Cobra is hibernating in the the garage now, for the winter. Off to Los Vegas tomorrow for the SEMA show........ Pics of the bear from tonight. It was getting dark. Taken from my back deck.... Last edited by Lakesrider; 11-02-2009 at 09:56 PM. |
