Default Hello, first post

I just wanted to say hi. I've actually been following this forum for years but kept putting off joining. I live year round in the Lakes Region and am out on Winnipesaukee all 4 seasons so I hope to have good input on some of the topics. I figured it would be safer to have my 1st post here instead of the restaurant forums...

Ok C Dog, welcome to the forum. Looking forward to your input and yes, a better first post here than what many others have done blasting a restaurant.

No doubt that your "official" welcome post will appear in a short while.

Another nice morning that will be turning into clouds later in the afternoon with the possibility of scattered showers here and there. The waking up temp was 61.2 degrees.

CozbyDog, I just noticed that you are fairly new to the forum and glad you have joined us. Have fun and enjoy the Winni Forum while making many new friends. I am extremely sorry for not getting here sooner, but my family is here for 3 weeks and I must admit I have neglected my checking out the posts. Please forgive me for my errors of my way. I promise after the family leave, which I wish would be never I will keep better tabs on the new comers to the Winni Forum. Thanks for understanding my reasoning….

Thanks mcdude for helping me out. Did I really give that great weather forecast on the other blog???? Gotta leave now and go and do it again for this new day.
What a free natures fireworks we had here at the lake during the night including the booms echoing around the mountains and even the heavy rain didn't spoil them.

My first post as well so I may have to get the hang of this forum.
We summer on Barndoor and live in that state (NY) that no true Granite Stater will abide We're really not bad and I've come here since summer camp in Center Harbor longer ago than I'd care to disclose.

Well I am a newbie so maybe I should be silent and read for a while, but I had a question for all of you in the Wolfeboro area. Since we look right at Mitt's boathouse (for better or worse) we're always curious to know where he is. A couple of hours ago the gunboat appeared. It's always a sign that either he or his family are about to show up. Anyone know of his plans.
BTW I think he's great (as a person) but can't say the same of his thugs. They have a job to do but I think they could be more pleasant while they do it.
JMHO of course
Oh oh, does this get me a visit by the Secret Service?

I had a feeling he was coming because first they said he was taking a few days off to meet with his advisors. Then they said he had a rally in Manchester. So I had decided we needed to ride by there to see if he did come this weekend. Now you have told me, I don't need to. Not a big deal, because that is one of our regular trips anyway. Now we have you as our lookout!

I thought the same thing. But then I heard Ryan is going to be (down south -S.C? and they were not travelling together. ) but maybe the next day he will come up here. It would not surprise me at all. It's kind of fun having our wonderful lake in the spotlight for 15 minutes, isn't it? Let's hope it last longer. I am happy that Mitt likes it here enough to take his breaks here. I think it assures that if he wins, this will be the vacation White House.

Man, we did OK on this post as we got to 22 threads before the subject got changed. I think the newer subject would get more attention under its own post as who the heck would think to look under this subject to post comments to Romney and a summer vacation spot and that to has a post location of it's own.
