Don't people usually ask about a business before they buy from them?

Rented boats from them twice and both times were a great experience. Would definitely consider them for a purchase.

For you the deed is done now, so it must have been good enough to follow through with your purchase.

Default winnisquam marine

you could not have made a better choice for a marina. I have bought two boats from them and they are the best and fairest around. I give Ryan two thumbs up for his caring and professionalism to making sure that you are satisfied and happy with everything before and after the sale... GOOD CHOICE wl:

Great sales department, take your service elsewhere. And make sure you use fuel stabilizer with that gas.

Have had a couple of issues with them over parts and one sales issue.
Nothing major, and the sales issue got straightened out eventually.

As Winnisquamer said, don't bother with their service dept. for parts at least, more than twice the prices compared to other places. I haven't had to have them do any real maintenance, so I can't say anything about how good or bad their maintenance is.

And he's right, use fuel additives when buying gas there. Your sort of stuck with them for fuel if your on Winnisquam, no place else to get it on the lake.

Default Never again

Bought 1 boat there. Terrible service experience convinced me not to buy there again. To my mind the after sale experience it what counts and they failed big time.

Default Bought a boat

Bought a boat and had them do a fairly complex networked 3 node gps/depthfinder install and am very pleased. Minor problem sourcing a trolling motor that I ended up buying at bass pro that they couldnt get? It was installed quite well also. I am on winni so i service elsewhere.

I have bought 3 boats from them plus swapped a motor I provided on a different boat. Never an issue, great sales support.

Welcome to the Forum George123. I saw this new post and immediately thought, "He already bought the boat, so he just wants to tell everybody, doesn't really want to hear about Winnisquam Marine."

So, George123, it's finer to post and brag some, but the unwritten rule is, when you buy a new boat, we want to see a picture. Happy, smiling family. If you don't have a happy smiling family and the boat is just full of bikini babes, post that picture anyway. We'll understand.

He could also be asking what people think of the Crownline brand (after the fact), either way I like your line of thought.

Have bought a few boats from Winnisquam over the years including a new bow rider and new pontoon last season. We have been extremely happy with the sales experience and generally happy with the service aspect. All dealerships get swamped during the spring and fall rush and minor things fall thru the cracks with service. Winnisquam has always come thru for us. Ryan, Julie and Ed do a bang up job.

As far as Crownline goes. You will absolutely love your new boat. All the bells and whistles and a great product.

What issue? Concerning to me because the two boats I purchased did not make it past hour 7 before there was issues.

Also just a tip, when getting gas there make sure you arrive early or late, there is only 1 gas dock that they also use for the rental boats, and people launching/ dropping off, each rental takes easily probably 25 minutes.

So you will be waiting at least 25 minutes for gas if there is no line.

Nice boat! Always liked the rear facing seats, and Congrats, are you keeping it on Winnisquam or Winni?

The Gear lube reservoir was leaking and was low. I went down and spoke to Mark on Sunday. They picked up the boat from lake winni on Monday and found a cracked fitting in the transom and fixed it. They picked up the boat from my dock and took care of it so i have nothing but good things to say. I love the boat!! It will be staying at Lake Winni.

Beautiful boat. Enjoy! How hard it is to park in that spot that the picture is taken in if that other boat is there? Looks like your bow is right up against the wall.

Only one sales/service experience with Winnisquam Marine...Bought a 4 Winns Bowrider this past Spring and the delivery was smooth. We bought in April and were waiting for warmer weather as we were still having freezes overnight and at delivery they drained the block of the Volvo Penta before we took it home.

When some warmer weather came, we wanted to take it out and lo and behold, the battery was dead (checking things at home on the trailer with the muffs on the motor before getting to a lake). Quick call and bring the battery in for a check...won't take a charge. By the way the date on the battery was the original sold with the boat (by them) in 2007! (even the service guy denied that was the case) The codes on the battery were from 2007 when we looked them up.
Anyway, they give me a "new" battery, I get it home and shazam...dead as a door nail...it was supposed to have been fully charged and came off their charging rack/shelf.
Called again and this time we figured we'd launch on Winnisquam after having a new (and checked out) battery in the boat. Got there with boat on the trailer and found the guy...without saying much he went into the garage bay where they keep batteries and had someone check out a THIRD battery.
This one was fully charged ans he handed it to me and started walking away....I said "can't you throw this in for me"? and he said he didn't have time or some such. I said "don't have any tools" so he went in and gave me a wrench from his bench...and said "just leave it here when you're done."
Whatever...my wife and I, both in our late 60's had to climb on board with the boat on the trailer and install the battery while the guy disappeared.
In my book, not very good service for having just spent $15+Grand there.
Anyway, we sold the bowrider and bought a Tritoon from another marina and couldn't be happier now!
Mind you, my wife and I are very capable and had no problems installing the 3rd battery but it struck me as strange that the service guy treated us (customers) this way.
That's my Winnisquam Marine 2 cents...Your mileage may vary...(YMMV)
