I would have to agree with winter harbor taken from the runway area.

Yep...sure seems the view is looking across Winter Harbor from the tip of Wolfeboro Neck with the trees in the foreground being on Wolfeboro Neck...
appears to be from an elevated vantage point...perhaps from a landing or departing airplane at the old turf landing strip

If that's Mt. Washington which it says it is, it can't be taken from inside Winter Harbor. That is more a view from the broads. I thought maybe Tuftonboro Neck and Cow Island into the Barber Pole but I don't think that's it either. Cow didn't have that many houses then.

The view is a low level aerial which allows a line of site to Mt Washington across
Winter Harbor and above the terrain that would block the view at lake/ground level

I’m pretty sure Mt. Shaw would block the view if this shot were from Winter Harbor.

This is a photo in the Gallery section posted by Just Sold almost seven years ago. It was taken from Lincoln Park in Gilford. I believe the earlier photo was taken uphill from the park, perhaps from Locke's Hill.

Correct. You'd have to be located in the middle of the lake to see Mt. Washington.

Exactly at least that view. So, Gilly and APS, where do you think it could be taken from? It seems too close to be Rattlesnake doesn't it? I LOVE trying to figure out these mysteries.

Default Round is Round

I think that the land mass shown in the photo in #13 is the south end of Round Island. 🐻

I do think it has to be that area, but do the branches seem close to whatever piece of land we are seeing?? Sorry if I am over analyzing.

Ignore everything in the foreground and compare the mountains in #13, which was taken from Lincoln Park in Gilford, and the mystery shot in #5. The alignment of the mountains is very close. #5 is taken from a higher vantage point.
