Default Pepper's Person/Pepper's People

Are you a Pepper's Person or Pepper's People? Know the Forum has had a lot of Pepper threads, but I had to start another one. Today, for the first time, my Mom and I went to Waldo Pepper's for lunch (because of all the Forum raves and Pepper’s warm notes) and loved it. Where else could you get a delicious lunch and a smiling, vivacious Pepper to go with it? I’ve been a long-time Forum reader and an infrequent contributor but I just had to say how much we loved Pepper’s new chicken salad subs – chilled cold chicken salad, soft sub rolls, and whatever you want on it. Can’t wait to go back for a lobster roll and ribs, etc.! Thanks, Pepper, my mother and I talked about you and lunch all the way home!

JL Girl - I thoroughly enjoyed meeting both you and your mother today, and am especially delighted that you enjoyed one of our newest offerings. I certainly look forward to seeing both of you again!

You were talking about me? No wonder my ears were burning all afternoon!

If Peter Piper were to pick a peck of Peppers,
How many Peppers would Peter Piper have to Pick?

Aw come on folks this one is easy

Three little letters (Hint Hint Hint)

Okay, if you really need help...only ONE !!!!!!

But that's because there is only one Pepper!!!! And fortunately she's all ours .... sort of.... well, we have to share her with Waldo.... maybe he has to share her with us.

Default Ei Yi Yi - that's as funny as a barrel full of monkies

I'm still laughing everytime I think about it. I was wondering what that noise was, I muted the TV for a second to see if I could figure it out.

Last night we ordered take out ribs (mmm..mmm!) from Pepper's. We intend to work our way, over a period of time, through all of Pepper's menu. Lobster rolls are next! Is the hot or cold lobster roll better or should we try both?....."Be-claws of you?" "Top crust"....acean? Let me see now..we have gtxrider's Pepper's Peeps...do people who "play on words" become "Pepper's Punsters"?

You turkey, you!

DS informs me that we had approximately 35 of these monsterous gobblers taking part in a feeding frenzy on the back lawn this morning around 10:30.

Thanks for sharing the video ... I see you're having a whole lot of fun with that new toy!!!!!!!!!!!

Default Available soon - Regular and Diet

I was at Waldo Peppers today - and can I just say for the record (not that it hasn't been said a million times already) the traditional Lobster Rolls - hands down they are the best around.

Anyway, I believe it was upthesaukee that got me thinking about this. I was sitting in one of the booths at Pepper's directly across from the cold drinks cooler and it occurred to me they do not carry what I believe would be the all time favorite soft drink at Peppers.

Default Definitely Try Both!

Good one Outlaw! Pepper, you should get on that!
UTS, I'd have been more impressed with the video if you had actually captured a peeper!

JL Girl, I think this calls for a lobsta poll!
Any which way you serve me one is delicious! Hot buttered is like lazy man’s.
Come to think of it, I haven’t tried traditional... yet. (Don't worry Pepper, I will see my allergist first.)

Outlaw, you did it again! Now I'm going to have that jingle stuck in my head all day! Perhaps I should look into having a "private label" beverage!

RG - Glad to hear you're going to check with the allergist! Stabbing myself with an EpiPen is unpleasant enough. I don't ever want to have to do it to you!!!

Lin - I can totally relate to that "busy life"! Looking forward to seeing you as the season progresses!

Bigger than BabyBack, more flavorful with less fat - St. Louis cut ribs! Cooked very slow and low, for a fall-off-the-bone result, then bathed with our homemade barbeque sauce.

Looking forward to filling your belly soon!

Pepper...haven't you heard that old saying : "Better you than Me!!!!!"

Actually, better not to have to use an Epipen at all, as my wife has three of them strategically stowed away for all activities.

UTS, I'd have been more impressed with the video if you had actually captured a peeper!

RG we actually tried to get closer, but everytime I tried they shut up, and we had to go across the street til they started again. Rather shy little rascals, eh what????

Thinking about all the posts in this thread, and the plane equipment in Waldo Pepper's, don't you have a vision of Waldo and Pepper in an old fashioned, open cockpit plane with their goggles, leather jackets, and scarfs trailing in the wind, flying all around the lake, waving to Upthesaukee and RG and Outlaw and everyone, trailing a banner behind them which would say ??????? So, what should the banner say? I just know that upthesaukee's gonna come up with a good one!

On another note, what song would be blaring from the cockpit? How about "I'm a Pepper, You're a Pepper, Wouldn't ya like to be a Pepper too?" Any other suggestions?

And finally, just for the halibut, who should sing the song that blares from the cockpit....Waldo McCartney? Pepper Streisand? A new singing group?
